Shooting the Ruger Blackhawk 45 ACP

My 10 yr. old grandson , Trevor, really likes to shoot my Blackhawk, 45 ACP
I'm loading the Lee, micro band, 200 gr. SWC with 3.8 grs. of B'Eye.
A fun load for him to shoot.
Might not work 100% in a 1911, but it is 101% in the Blackhawk revolver.

Looks good. Yeah, I agree, right down there in power to function a lot of 1911s, but it may
work in some.
Definitely will "feed and cycle" in Bhawk.:)

Sounds like you are choosing a side loader in self defense.....slow down the rate of
expenditure of ammo just a touch. :) Sounds to me like a wonderful relationship you have
there, and I think both of you are benefitting greatly.

I meant cool, as in "that's cool, man". Not cool as in "man, it's cold".

Still, he's got the right idea about going early and staying late. Especially, with Grandpa's cool guns.

Trevor is quick, and still hitting quite well. If a burglar ever comes into range....

I loved the laugh and "Did you see that?!" in an excited tone at the end of the video.
Delightful.

Well, done, Trevor.

I imagine that a 1911 would expend a LOT more of Ben's lead, powder and primer supplies
per month.

Yes, I do have a very nice 1911. Trevor shoots it a good bit also.
