Well about 6 this morning we had a black fox come through. Cross Fox I believe is more correct. These black foxes are pretty common in this valley for the last couple of years.

With all of the critters we see from the house. I was overjoyed yesterday to see my first rabbit that i have seen for the last 4 years. I figure we just have too many Bobcats in the area.

Seen more rabbits, this year, than any other. Use to only see them at dawn and dusk. Now they are out in broad daylight.

Rabbits here are on a 7 year cycle, this is year 8. Lots of Fox and some Lynx about, but food is quickly being consumed, and the rabbit population will decline quickly.

Deer are everywhere this year and eating foliage they generally leave alone, e.g., New Guinea Impatiens. Here are two of "mommy" (her fawn was nearby, but I couldn't get a good photo of it) in my backyard @ 10:25 this AM.
