Got a new toaster oven 9 inch black and decker with even toast tech,(it's got a built in heat sink). $10 at Good Will.
Hopefully it will work good with the powder coat. We will see.
Testing it now seams to be right on within 5 degree's variation according to where I place the oven thermometer.
Found a stainless steel percolator while there too. I used my old aluminum one to make lube.

Well "Stom a Geddon" didn't happen! Didn't even have to clean anything! Supposedly we have 2 more of these hitting us this week! Maybe we will be as lucky as today!
Weighed out the last 2 batches of the PC'd NOE .246-105s Stored them away in their wooden box ...now filled to the brim and heavy.
Also sized the 2 batches of the NOE .311-185's Plain base...& they are ready to PC!
Also sized the two batches of the same but Gas Checked version! Stored them away as is ( Never know if I will want to check them for something other then Low Node Target shooting.
Had some more of my wife's homemade scratch chili this evening! Man it is good! Still have one more meal to go.
I spiced mine up a bit too much today so I had to pull out some crackers and cheese to mellow out my mouth afterwards!
For those of you that like really sharp cheeses.... You have to try Wally Worlds "Old Crock" extra sharp Aged cheddar! This stuff is the best I have found!
It is from Australia ( Grass feed cows)! Even better then the most expensive English extra sharp cheddars & the price is a bargain! At least where we live! My wife buys 3 blocks when ever she goes to Walmart! She loves it too

i learned the Japanese word for snow yesterday,,, then promptly forgot it.

spent another 3+ hrs,,, and talked to 4 different people at the IRS this morning.[don't know how i got through so fast]
they filed some type of paper for me, only took the lady about 15 minutes to get that done.
should hear back from them in another 60 days,,,, siigh.
looks like i'll have this years return before i get last years.

that left me plenty of time to powder coat and size a whopping 5-600 44 cal. bullets.
god that takes forever.

mmm ~4 hrs.
it takes me about 45-50 minutes to bake a batch, and i done 2.
the shaking and standing takes a bit.
dry them off and give them a quick spritz of lube
had to find and clean the push through die i decided to use rather than run them through the star.
get everything out and set it up then put it all away.

i seriously could have just filled a few tubes for the star and run them through in about 30 minutes.
hell i coulda lube sized and loaded them into some brass faster than it takes me to coat/cook them.

Pistol bullets take me about 12 minutes to shake, pick, and load 100 on a tray to bake. Two minutes shaking tops, usually more like a minute thirty. Do the first one, shake pick and load the second tray, pet the shop cat and drink coffee for ten minutes while the first batch bakes. Dump the first batch after cooking, put in the second tray to bake, shake pick and load the first tray again (it cools just enough in a couple minutes while shaking), then the hot bullets are cool enough to size. Go size the bullets, by then the bake is nearly done, swap trays in the oven, dump the hot bullets, and repeat. Almost 300 sized bullets an hour with perfect coating (no basket baking for me). After about four hours I'm pooped so I only do that about once a week when I'm on a major reloading campaign, plus it gives me time to load in between coating sessions and gives the bullets time to age a bit.

My niece gave me enough cracked crab for 2 salads.
Now I gotta make some dressing.
I was so tired yesterday that I only got 1 trailer load of leaves mulched.
I'm feeling better this morning.
These freezing mornings are not helping my project.
The damn wet leaves are frozen to the ground.

Welp, we're into crazy stuff now. The belly has been giving me such issues, (pretty sure it's the meds I'm on), that I'm taking the totally unprecedented step of only making half the coffee I normally do! Yes, crazy talk for sure, but nothing else seems to be working, it's worth a shot. The amount of gas I'm producing would probably power a small nation. Ginko didn't help at all, just made me queasy. Only have a few more days on the meds and they ARE clearing up the green slime. If this going to be the new norm, just count me out!

Picked up a wireless mouse for the new laptop at the most expensive place in town, which was also the only place locally that had one. At least now I can navigate.

Hope to get something, ANYTHING!, done today. I'm so far behind now it's pathetic.

Antibiotics wreck havoc on the digestive system. They kill infection bacteria but also attack the bacteria in your gut that helps digestion. The meds can't tell the difference between the good bugs and the bad ones so take them all out.
Some take probiotics to help but mostly things return to normal after the course of meds is over. I hope you are feeling better soon.

What we do is leave the leaves right where they fall in the Fall. ;) Seriously. They provide Wintering habitat for a variety of insects and many more insects are not harmful and indeed may be beneficial and necessary. Then during the next mowing season they quickly get mulched up, break down, and the lawn uses those nutrients. And the lawn had better use them because it sure as hell isn't getting any fertilizer.

Golly Bret, I feel for ya man. When I had the puncture wound back in September the E.R. Doc put me on some kind of serious antibiotic, I forget the name now. Killed my gut bacteria and gave me 5 days of diarrhea. I should have started the yogurt, probiotics, and home fermented sauerkraut right away.

Go ahead and drink the coffee, your gut probably doesn't care, and you at least won't get a caffeine withdrawal head ache.

I leave the leaves where they fall. Except, those that end up on the porch. Those get swept up and put in a large plastic bag and periodically added to the compost receptacle. I don't have a lawn. Only the shoulders of the long gravel drive are kept mowed, because of it's use as a doggie rest area. Need to keep the tick population at a minimum.

So my wife tells me. At this point the thought of yogurt at all triggers my gag reflex!!! About all I can stomach is oatmeal and Marie Calenders Chicken pot pies. Steams me because I still have a mess of gorgeous beef in the fridge!

Best way to keep ticks down is to burn off in the spring. I don't have any scientific proof, but our tick population exploded when the State started having burn bans in early spring!

Angiogram on both the carotids yesterday, no need for stent. Interesting process, being completely awake. Got 200+ BO cases sized and flared this morning, re-wash and dry later after the rain stops. Possible snow tonite? Naw. Did lose power this morning for 1/2 hr, all the Karens asking what happened. Fun getting from the dark garage to inside.

last night changed the Dillion over from 45ACP to 44 Mag, Then had to trim and clean the brass YES I trim my pistol brass one time only.
Got tired to having my nice looking loads having a a few fail to fully go into cylinder cause the long ones over crimp in roll die.
Have to uphold my old dude persona with the 30 somethings I shoot with.
