California's Central Coast Amid The Insanity
Yesterday, Daddy lifted his latest partial house arrest order. Said he would not go into the all the various re-opening Tier colors and numbers because they are too complex and we kiddies wouldn't understand them. Hmmm . . .

Now that personal care businesses are allowed to re-open and outdoor dining to resume, I'm torn between having my nails done or eating dinner in the cold and rain at our favorite restaurant.

if you find the right nail salon you might could get them to feed you your dinner while they are buffing down your nail ridges, and for sure if you get a pedicure you could eat while your laying back.

Nope, won't work, Daddy still insists that we can only be trusted to dine outdoors, and only if we wash behind our ears.

When you going to recall that JackWagon.
About 300,00 more signatures and it'll go to a vote.

Last recalled guv was Gray Davis, but that got us 8-years of Arnold. Seemed to me, at the time, the voters forgot that he slept with a Kennedy everynight. Except for the times he found another woman.

Today I moved snow...my drive and walks and 4 of my neighbors who are either old and infirm or young and at work. It wasn't bad only an inch and a half of snow but it was the heavy wet stuff. The little Toro snoblower got to stretch it legs a bit today. The operator will be resting his.

Spent the day working on Photo files I shot last week for a big client ( Intermetro).... Since my home work office ( My Den) is right across the hallway from the bathroom I notice our turkeys like to peer inside our bathroom window ( giving new meaning to "Peeping Tom"!)
Got a photo of this guy about 1 hour ago! Looking in the window!
Man this is a face only his mother could love!!!

I'm so glad I live in a perpetual chain of small towns where there's room for 6' and common sense .

Meting a guy to sell a surplus, rare , vintage Lyman Spartan press , and a partial set of Lee 45 ACP dies missing the through powder/expander die . I'd feel bad about the dies but they were from a $60 box of junk I put 3-4 sets together from and even 1 I needed . I also sold the press for less than half of recent market pricing . I didn't pay much for it so so no worries .

I sawed up another 1/4 of a cord of oak for Mom .

Got the manual bead breaker hooked the floor at Mom's . I can not emphasize how nice a hammer drill is to punch a hole for an anchor bolt in concrete . Having long ago drilled a few holes in concrete without one , wow . It's not like this is new or something just a fresh reminder .

Having an early dinner tonight with a faked brisket , mashed potatoes , garlic bread , and some summer veggies .

Woke up to about 3" of fresh snow that was supposed to start at noon on Monday, but still had not arrived by bed time. Then the forecasterette said it was clearing out of the area before 7 am. The town patrolman plowed our road around 8 but it was still snowing. It finally stopped a little after noon. The patrolman had to plow again. I , oops, time out there are 10 deer messing around in the road and in our prairie right now.
Anyway, I got everything plowed out and cleaned up before the plow came through again. Been feeding the birds extra as their natural supplies are cut off.

I ran to town and refilled my diesel cans. Then hauled up a Ranger load of wood to the house. Fed the birds again, soon there were 40 mourning doves and cardinals in the driveway. They like it when I plow and expose fresh fine gravel and throw cracked corn on it.

Good thing we only get a few cars a day down our road, there are deer all over right now. Probably at least a dozen.

Permanently deleted my acct. 3 weeks ago. Funny how they make deletion 10 times harder than joining.
I’d delete mine if I wasn’t required to use it for work. I did delete all but about 30 of my closest friends and very immediate family.

I would never have had a FB account if I didn't have a daughter. Every single person on my FB friends list is either family or someone that I actually know in person.

Had my son swap scopes on two of my rifles. My first rifle ever, a REM 788 in 22-250 had a Nikon Buckmasters 6-18 and I thought it deserved better. Most of it’s life it wore a Leupold Vii 3-9 and got this new one a few years ago. I also have a TC Encore in heavy barreled 204 Ruger with a Leopold VIII 6.5-20 with fine cross hairs and fine dot. My old 788 ”deserved” this scope so I had him switch them for me. Of course it now gives me an excuse to shoot them because they need to be sighted in! Hopefully we get a nice enough day to do that before he heads back to college in a couple of weeks. I think he’ll get to shoot the new 6.5 creedmoor too! Should be a great day!!!
