Winelover and Rick, if you are happy with your ophthalmologist, can you PM me the name? We're way overdue for new lenses and frames. I stopped seeing optometrists over 30 years ago.

That is the truth!Did a full electrical top-out for the room addition and insulated the ceiling. Full day's work because nothing is ever as simple as it first appears.
What was the issue with the HF version? They have a fantastic rep among the 4 wheel drive crowd so I'm surprised at your assessment. Personally, I like the idea of the old fashioned PTO winches myself. I gotten my electric way too hot a time or 2 already.I'm whole again!! I just got my Warn M12,000 winch back on my truck. It was getting tired after 36 years of hard living.
I'd anticipated some down time rebuilding it, and purchased a Harbor Freight "Badlands" 12000 winch, to have something on the truck to use, if needed. I did indeed have to use it, once, and only once. Pretty obvious the designer of that winch has never used one, what a piece of junk.
Anyway, almost $800 later, and three weeks on the bench, I'm sporting an updated winch with new electronics, motor, drive shaft, and brake system. I'm a happy camper!
