the liquid IBu. stuff is good teething medicine too.

speaking of Mom stuff.
Littlegirl pulled the tragicly epic mom move yesterday without even noticing it and all I could do was laugh.
she done the spit on a tissue move, when we run into Barrett's other grandmother at the lumber store.

Ain't my blood..... was out varmint blasting in the rain today. Didn't notice the blood until in the car and shopdog started licking my hand. Big ole blood snot/bugger hanging on... it was pretty nasty. New camo PING hat is broken in though..... from a hunting standpoint.20190321_114246_resized.jpg

Started the day in the rain. Shot some 223's just to get started. 55g Lee,which is 57g..."all in". 19g H4198.... stupid accurate. But,there's only ONE gun in our inventory when it comes to hunting in a solid rain..... yup,7-08. Blasted a ____ @85yds. Was so proud of shopdog. She saw the setup,stopped..... pulled in directly behind me. I blast.... she says,"you done"?

"Yup,I'm done and so is that ____".

She approved and off we go on a very nice hike/hunt.20190321_101630_resized.jpg

we got more snow this morning to remind us we live in the mountains, and that spring doesn't come till mid-June.
on a bright note I can see some of the sprinkler heads out back, and part of the picket fence around the garden.
I figure there is about 2' in the low spots and close to 4 on the shady side, it's partially melted and froze back into Ice in many places so we got a while yet.

Just got home from the hospital with my wife. It was a mild heart attack. Her angiogram was clean. Her arteries and heart look good with zero blockage or scaring. They think that the stomach virus she had might have contributed to the stress on her heart.
I have been on her for years to quite smoking. Maybe this will open her eyes. We both had quit back in 2011 but she started up again in 2015.
A bit better diet, we eat fairly healthy as it is, and exercise.
Anyway. She is home and resting up for a few days before returning to her normal daily activities. Thank you all for the kind words and support.
It means a lot to us both.

Great news Walter. Diet, exercise, and not smoking will go a long way to ensuring a long life. Tell her a pharmacist said so, she will love that.

Glad to hear she's on the mend waco.

As if I needed a reminder that I should stop smoking. The joke when young was that cigs take years off the end of life, but truth be not so much always. Maybe upgrade my life insurance in the meantime. o_O

Very proud of my wife, she has quit.
