SWFA SS 10x42

I got the 6x twin for my M1A because they were sold out of the 10x for months during the period in which I was shopping for one. I love it, it's everything it should be and I can recommend it with confidence. With SWFA stuff you're paying for the product and not so much for the marketing wank, so it's a better over-all value in most cases. Their scopes ARE made to go to war and yet don't weigh more than the rifle.

They're set up for dialing in the field, I'd say more of a "tactical" application but will work well for any purpose.

I really think I might give one a try. I can shoot steel all day with my 10x Leupold at 1000 with my .308
I bet this one is as good from what I've read. I'm sure I could wring it out to 1300 or so with the 6.5

My brother bought a SWFA 16X for his 6.5CM
He loves it. Clear, and tracks like it should.
$299 is hard to beat.....

I take that back. They make variable scopes too. With HD glass as an option. $$$ goes up of coarse........

their variables take a big jump.
but so do the features.
for some 1 or 200 yd target shooting a side focus 20 power would be pretty good especially for 3-400$

One of the local pawn shops has the fixed 20x model (used of course) for $150. I've thought about picking it up even though I don't need it at this time.
