I have not shot this one in about 3 years.
I thought it might be a nice training tool
for my Grandson Trevor with light loads.

That would be the piece to getting him making one hole groups at long range. Even better slow down that thumb. :)
Yea, we know where your going. It might back fire on ya, he'll just stay at the bench longer and shoot just as much lead. ;)

Just a question. Does that rear site notch piece have up & down play From the base? Mine does is why I ask. Mark

Ben; again your photos are very nice and show lots of detail. What camera do you use?

I have a feeling he is going to do just fine. That handgun test his sight alignment skills, a good thing.

Guess I'll have to get out the Nikon D3000 and learn how to use it properly. Thanks Ben.

That is a great Camera.
Possibly much better than my Minolta.

The rear sight has a suspension spring as part of it's assembly.
Unimpeded it will remain at the top of it's adjustment.

He'll soon graduate to something like this:
30 Herrett pistol med.jpg

and then to this: 7-30 waters w target med.jpg

Watch out... it can easily become an obsession.

So many calibers ! And never enough time.
And a very nice thing with the .357 is it becomes a real slayer with just a few turns of a 357 Max (Supermag) reamer.

That Black & Blue is a beauty.
A classic look. Fun & functional.
Thanks for sharing.
Good shooting, sir.
