Think this one goes out to Brad and our webmaster

Hi Guys,
I have been noticing that since we have been getting more new members the "new post" section has expanded.
At first we could work our way through to the 7 th section and find the end with "the most recently read" !
However I'm starting to see that we get to the 7th section and it seems it should continue but it doesn't!
Are we only stuck with 7 sections or should we be able to view more?
It appears we need to extend this because there are a lot more new posts every 24 hours?
Just my 2 cents
Jim

Kevin will be working on the latest software update I think. It is not counting new members or post count or thread count. I've mentioned this to Brad. About a half dozen times.

Threads 4,699
Messages 96,683
Members 983

These numbers haven't changed in weeks and there is probably a couple dozen new members and numerous new threads and posts since then.

Something is definitely amiss. First thing I'm going to do is apply the latest software update and see if things get better.

But it appears crontab entries aren't running like they ought to.

I haven't had any problems but some folks have commented on pictures somehow getting swapped around or something? Maybe not related at all just pointing it out.

Try power-cycling the server!

Sorry, been mad at technology all week, trying to get a Xerox pro-grade multi to work with seven laptops and eight home-pc desktop systems on wifi, network through an archachaic router, set up a proxy server, and get the port numbers right for various smpt's so the fustercluck will talk to the mail servers. It would be great if stuff actually worked, but fully half the time even when I do something right it doesn't work until the second try.

see.. I got no such problems.
stamps are 50 cents.

I have just taken to opening about each section and scrolling through it recently after checking my alerts tab.
I never have been big on using the 'today's posts' thing.

Crontabs are best when inserted in the proper cronslot

No, he meant crontab.
He sells the old one to the state penal facility, they are used to dealing with ex crons.....

the numbers just ain't changing in the statistics box.
it's still counting members somewhere because if you hover over an avatar name it gives you their signup number.

The stats did indeed start moving, posts jumped by thousands, threads way up and the latest member was yesterday. Yippee.

You know, the scary part is, I remember those days. When you would take all the tubes to the 7-11 and test them one at a time on the stand alone tv tube tester.

We didn't have no 7-11's, had to go where Brad works. Tube testers are long gone but Brad is still there.

one in a million..
I had to walk to the little stand alone radio shack and keep plugging them in until I found the bad one.
