That's been floating all over the internet for some time now. Me thinks it's pure BS. First they say it's a poll and by CBS no less. Consider this, your phone rings and some stranger says we are conducting a poll, how many guns do you own? Really? So much for any semblance of accuracy in that poll huh?

I was a bit shocked at where Nebraska came in. Like Rick said, it all depends on who answered the phone or the questions.
If a stranger called you and asked if you had guns would you say yes?

I doubt I would ever disclose completely what I own or possess in response to a poll. Let alone in casual conversation, nunya as far as I am concerned.

Last one of these I glanced at in a nut shell, according to that specific poll. Each gun owner had no less than 20-25 guns. That was because a lot of folks never admitted to owning. So the number of guns seemed high for the number of owners.

Never assume.
