I read people posting about the current production lever guns but I haven't heard any comments about the single shots. Anyone seen, shot, owned one. I'm tempted but would like to hear something about them. I would have to have my lgs order one.

I have read a few reports of very heavy triggers.....( 7 - 8 lbs ).
If that is the norm, that would be a deal breaker for me.
I understand some people are changing trigger springs, etc., and getting a 3 - 4 lb. trigger with the rifles.
Right now, I'm not too interested .

I just can not get around the lack of style, poor lines and plain old homeliness. They make the NEF Handi-Rifles look like works of art. IMHO

Guess I hadn't gotten a good look using my phone. Not a lot of caliber options either.

Think someone here has one. Don't remember who. Honestly I prefer a higher capacity anyway

Higher capacity than a single shot? Hard to go any lower.

No need for a rifle like this in my stable.

I wouldn't mind having a decent single shot that costs a lot less than a Ruger no-1 in 303 Brit, 30-30, or 7.62X39.

I have two Savage 219s, good to go here on the break-action single-shot .30-30s.

I like to hunt with a single shot, makes me pick the right shot.
