Thoughts on the Vortex Razor HD LH Scope?

Not a Razor. But I have about 4 vortex scopes and haven't had any problems. My scopes are Diamondbacks (3) and Vipor's (1). All gotten used.
Then again I have a couple 50$ package deal noname scopes, that haven't given me a lick of problem.

I have one of the 1" tube 6x24 Vipers with the side parallax on my XCB it is the best scope I own.
if I had a better scope I'd put it on the Armalite bolt rifle.

I was thinking about a medium range rifle like 400-600 yards or so--maybe one of my grendels or maybe the .277 wolverine upper I'm building. Not totally sure which rifle though.

on an AR upper you have a lot to think about when choosing a scope.
if you put it up high you can work the charging handle but have to rest your chin on the stock.
you know the drill.

I have been using a Leupold 4x12 vari-2c with the adjustable objective on my stag 6-H.
if the scope wasn't about worn out it would be about perfect [it really needs to go back to the factory]
but the length is just right to reach around to get to the charging handle and the eye relief is perfect for standing sitting or laying down to shoot with it.
I can even turn the rifle sideways and use the scope's crosshairs at 50-100 yds with no problems on ground squirrels.

for the longer distances the fitment of the scope to the rifle and to the alignment with your eye becomes more important.

I ended up ordering it with the hookup from a friend to get it cheap(er). I am not sure which gun I want to put it on, but I am thinking maybe the .277 wolverine I recently built. As soon as I get it in my hands and put it through the paces, I will post back some feedback.
