Elric, thanks for the article, I had not seen that one. I think I have used more than 150 lbs. of Unique over my handloading life. The only downside, it's dirty.

Well, don't be scared of dirty fun...

Really, I've used it in my 7-30 and 6.8 SPC cast bullet diddling and it was not more than a light haze. This is the recent production, within the last two years.

120gr 7mm with 8gr, 110gr 270 with 6gr

Yeah it is a little better in shouldered cases, but straight walled cases are dirty with Unique.

Unique might be "Flaming Dirt", but it does a decent job. From the film "Paint Your Wagon"--'The best things in life are DIRTY....'

Love that name, 9.3x62 is one of my favorite cartridges. In my CZ-550 it is deadly accurate.
