I'm not a vet . I come from a long history of vets on every front from maggot Marines to the CIC . I married the USAF , had a brother of sorts in the USN and the Corps , 2sons in the USA a daughter in the USN , a Navy Chief for a SIL and Coasty and Marine BIL. The Navy daughter , a SeeBee Gunners mate 7yr, will be married to a Marine next November 17. The SIL was set to Ret 9/17/01 she stayed another yr . The Navy daughter rode the Reagan to Fukushima after the Tsunami . The 1st Army son did 3 tours in in Iraqistan. The older brother joined up anyway . My grandfather did his USN hitch 37-39 but spent 12/8-12/41 in the harbor at Pearl .
