Our CC testing is any caliber, revolver or semi, at 10 yards. Usually, one cylinder full or one magazine. Hitch is you qualify with a semi, you can carry either and your permit lasts for five years. Qualify with a revolver, you can only carry a revolver, permit good for three years. Most instructors have a a spare 22 semi, for those that show up with a revolver. Usually, a Ruger.

When Cindy and I qualify, it's with my 22/45 Lite. Don't have to worry about retrieving brass. Also, any type of sights can be used to qualify..............red dots included.

WOW, that's a bizarre rule.

Do Arkansas driver’s licenses specify automatic or manual transmission cars only? Or if you take the driving test in a blue car you are only licensed to drive blue cars?

When my Mom got her DL in California in 1960 you had a restriction on the license for automatic transmission only if you took the driving test in an automatic transmission car for the duration of the first license.

I think it was like 2005 before Nevada changed the rules from having to have either a auto or a revolver permit with the specific arm on the permit. You could get both but you had to take 2 courses for 2 permits . By the letter of the law if you had a CCW you were committing a felony if you open carried . It'd be pretty hard to have a CCW and hunt . No ?

Arkansas is now a Constitutional carry but if you get a permit for the carry reciprocity the state has free access to your medical records .......
