big wind out of the south and it got over 32.
i spent about 20 minutes sharpening the 2 metal snow shovels and a little more trying to clear off some slush spots that'll surely freeze here in a bit.

The .7" to .8" of scheduled rain didn't fall in the rain frog's new gauge (rascally squirrels broke the original), but 1/4" of nice
on-and-off soaking rain did.

Frosty roofs and a very cold 35, this morning. Electricity went off at 0300 and didn't come back on till 0700, so we had a cold house.

Finally, got 1.4" of precipitation, overnight and into the AM. Been very dry here. They've been promising it since early in the week. Didn't materialize until after dark, yesterday.

Eleventh day of below freezing, clouds and dusting of snow every couple of hours. Hope it clears up in the mountains soon, hate not seeing sunshine for so long.

well it's slowly pushing this direction.
that may have been snow or just the moisture in the air freezing today, it built up another quarter inch of floof.

Sue tells me Weather Underground is forecasting about 5" of snow for us overnight. So, I put the plow on the tractor, checked the hydraulics, and plugged in the engine heater. Go ahead, snow.

Wow, 15 minutes away and I had no fog yesterday and today is clear and sunny. John is living in Sleepy Hollow with that headless guy riding his horse in the fog.

Heavy fog here most of the morning and last night couldn't see much more than 15 yards.

Fog follows the landscape and settles in low areas. I'm not in a low area, up high looking down on your areas.

Our forecast 5" turned into 8" and it is wet and heavy and packs like crazy. Made the Kubota grunt a little when I'd get a big wad in front of the 8 ft. blade. 38° for the afternoon high, so pleasant out on the tractor even with feeling a touch of mist on my cheek.
