What is your weather today?

Not sure what kind of APS you speak of but yes, needs to be an inverter in line. Most non-motor stuff can take pretty good variance on 60hz (50-70) and usually 90-130 vac. DC stuff is usually just a volt or 2. Big problem with the 'grid' switching is making sure the 'line' is started in-phase and freq. Takes time to get MW generators miles apart synced. Not synced and really bad stuff happens. Can't just throw the switch.
Oh, almost 50F now.

One something like this for the house.

After getting into and below the teens overnite and 3-5" of snow, it broke 60 today. AND, still remnants of snow on the ground! Just crazy

The 1” we were expecting turned into 8+” of heavy, wet snow.
temps supposed to be in low 40s a few days this week so we should melt off some snow of the sun cooperates.

Clear, bright, calm and 60.

In weather like today, my wife usually wears two layers of shirts or blouses, but was gardening in a short-sleeved shirt.

We desperately need rain, though. We've less than 6" this season but about 14" is normal. I'm not current with the Sierra snow pack, however suspect that it is well below normal. The acorn theory is holding true, and I predict that next year will not be any better.

The modern curriculum at a college for a meaty urologist. Weather 101, covering such terms as sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy, during the first semester. Second semester, hyperbolic terms designed to over dramatize the weather's potential, designed to scare the hell out the public.

Second year, hair, make up, fashion sense, and smiling. Next semester, how to do a smooth segue to the news anchor. Their junior year they get an entire year of political correctness and how to vote to support the future of the University.

Senior year, excuses, excuses, and more excuses.

What has recently led to such cynicism? Another botched forecast. We were supposed to get 2 to 4" as we are in the Southern viewing area for our closest TV station. They predicted 1" for themselves, instead, they got 5", we maybe got a 1/2", and a stripe about 10 miles wide running SW to NE halfway between us and the forecaster got up to 8". Our 2 to 4" was supposed to be the heaviest accumulation. Ooops. On the other hand, no plowing for me today! Whoo Hoo! And, it was 26 above when I got up.

High 20’s and snow, again... This would have been a great winter to own a snowmobile. We’ve had snow on the ground since mid December which is very rare for us.

Woke to strong winds and 36* .....with light rain spitting off and on. Snow is melting rapidly, maybe too fast. Still have a foot on the ground but ponding in the roadways.

66* at 9 A.M., forecast high of 75* today and 77* tomorrow. Another crummy-warm day in the Pipples' Respoobleek of Kalifornistan.

We could use some rain, certainly. More than once we have had a "March Miracle" that washes the drought away--along with roadways, bridges, housing tracts, etc. The newspimp scaremongers often mix in DROUGHT WARNINGS with the more common earthquake, AIDS, car chases in L.A., and other daily atrocity reminders that TV news consists of. They have about beaten COVID to death for the past year, so I am expecting the specter of drought to again do its phoenix-like rise from the ashes soon.

Too friggin warm. Phone said 34 yesterday when I was out trapping. A week ago it was -40 something! Snow melting off the roofs and slush to follow on the ice. Not good.

45 degrees and sunny, snow is melting rapidly and low spots are flooding with the frozen ground unable to absorb it. Looks like we are in for a week of "Indian Summer".

Mighty nice today. On my way back from the weekly lunch with old partners the temp was 83*--not a cloud in the sky--and very light breezes. Real Estate Weather, for certain.
