What is your weather today?

My fishing partner cancelled his trip today due to a mix up in scheduling a medical procedure for his wife. Not a bad thing as the promise high of 48 never materialized. 38 with a raw wind and solid over cast was about it. We will go catch some tomorrow.

Cruddy day today, cloudy and cool. Temp topped out about 62*, the sun tried to break through this mid-morning.....and gave up.

It was sunny an 68 here today. A bit windy but you can't ask for much more in mid April around here.

The cold pattern is hanging on. It was 29 when I got up this morning with a potential high of 52 late this afternoon. The depressing part is the extended forecast shows highs in the forties well into next week.

Hummingbirds are here. Lone male, a couple of days ago. Saw two, together, already this AM. Fifty degrees, this morning, only getting up to the mid 60's. Local news said to expect that pattern will continue to hold the rest of the month. More shooting...........less fishing.

Spring day today on the high desert: 0600 hours 37* and 64% humidity, 1600 hours 84* and 14% humidity. This is the type of day that drives tourists nutso. They are here for spring wine tasting and dress for cool weather and by mid afternoon down to "T"'s and shorts.

Off and on sun..& it made it to the low 60's for half the day but I had to play musical chairs with my seedlings! Tomatoes can dip into the 50's but Eggplant Basil and Rare chillies get stunted below 60! Dang it I had a workout keeping every one balanced Last week they were out every day but this week is a bummer ! Maybe tomorrow and Tuesday but then we are dropping into the 30's and 40's for the rest of the week!

Ric,
I have to laugh at the Summer tourists, who mostly come from hotter climates and don't know about the three to four month long June Gloom.

We are supposed to get snow tomorrow afternoon and get colder than heck Monday night into Tuesday.
Trees are all leafing out and getting buds.
They are saying 15 for a low tomorrow night and down around 20 Tuesday and Wednesday night.
If it happens this will be two years in a row no crab apple trees blooming around here. (Or any other trees for that matter.)

Could see some snow today. It won’t last long so I don’t care.

we are on a downward slide after almost hitting 60 yesterday.
maybe some snow later in the week,, maybe not.
I did see some rock chucks popping up in our higher elevation yesterday, might maybe get some shooting in here soon.

Cloudy and low 60's today, but it is Michigan after all......predicting 5" of snow Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The ground is pretty warm and it won't stay cold enough for it to stick around for long. It should make for a real mess on the roadways since its a sure bet most folks have forgot how to drive in snow/ice/slushy conditions.
