Last evening, we got little over 1/2" in ten minutes. :sigh: Suppose to dry out, over the next few days. Temps rising to the mid to upper 80's. Sixty eight degrees at 6 AM, this morning.

we are in a cold swing again [normal for this time of year]
night time temps will be in the 20's again, the highs will be lower-mid 50's, and rain-hail is likely for the next couple of days.
wouldn't surprise me to see a little snow next week.

it's here for sure, I flipped the heater back on this morning and I didn't ever see the temp go over 45 at all.

More seasonably normal but not alot of sun here. Low 60's for a high. Yesterday suked very humid and it took till wee hours to cool the house off. I probably shoulda shut down windows earlier in the AM. That sun was brutal!

A few days ago we turned on the AC so we could sleep. Now we need a blanket to keep warm.

Nebraska weather is awful fickle this time of year. That will change shortly as we go into hot/humid mode.

Windy, mostly cloudy, and cold. Got down to 28* last night and expected to be colder tonight. Went and pickued up a light roll of visqueen and covered the raised garden boxes to hold the heat in. All other plants that have not been planted and the hanging baskets came inside.
Looks like it will break by Sunday, 70* by Tuesday.

The temporary mini green houses, plus a load of top soil on the trailer behind garden. Some of the soil is for the mini greenhouse I'm building inside my shop. Will place or tomorrow then fill with the new top soil and manure.

It's 2 PM and only 60 degrees. Good for physical labor outside and keeping sweating at a minimum. I weed wacked for almost three hours.

Just got home from a road trip, cold and rain for a 150+ mile swath across the state. Fog til 1030 (about half the trip back). Blasting along the highway, I had the added surprise of my engine temp gauge suddenly pegging at max. Engine was fine, wiring problem.

Warm and sunny, but wheat crop is dying from lack of rain since February. Irrigated crops will get just enough, but ranchers and dry land framers are already cutting their losses.

June Gloom in May, yesterday. Overcast this morning but the sun's been out since about noon, and a light wind.

Rain?, less than 8" since July 1.

Cold Rain the past 3 days Broke all kind of low daily temp records.....Sucks
But we start warming up again tomorrow!
Hope my tropical vegetables faired OK in the plastic wrapped green house!

We should know better than to plant anything before Memorial Day. Two mornings in a row with frost. Hard freeze Saturday morning, frost on grass and wind shield this morning. Sue said, "Well they can't be killed any deader."

Been dry but unseasonably cool, the last few days. That ends tomorrow. Flood watch out for Tuesday and Wednesday.
