Has anyone played with sub sonic Maxi?

I believe the barrel is twisted, 1:18 3/4". So unsure about how heavy a bullet I can go to. But I have 180s, 200s, a 220, a 230, 250s, 270 and 310g in molds. I'm hoping I can get that 270 to work, it will stabilize in a1:16 just fine. But 250 may be as heavy as it goes. (of course I know it's bearing length not weight.)
Powders, I'm looking at trail boss for first use.

Yup , I have a 267 pointed NEI with 6 or 7 gr. Of trail boss lots of fun in my stevens 44 1/2 ...fun because the scope doesn't smack my in the glasses like hotter loads do.

Loaded some test loads today.

Loaded a powder charge of TB that would not compress on deepest seated bullet.

Yup, I could. But, with trail boss, there's not enough room in the case to get enough powder to make velocity.

I wasn’t desparging custom loading at all. I was thinking .22 short in a .22 LR type scenario and I forgot the smiley face!

Videos posted, coming this Sunday. Loading then in afternoon the range.

But had some range issues so was only able to velocity test. As expected all was subsonic some way slow (expected) none close enough.
880fps average. One was just over 900 one was 760 ish.

That is discontinued, because the factory, in Australia, had a fire and burned to the ground back in 2018... Sad sad loss.
