The Merit is retired and is happy in it's nest with the rest of the sight gear. Like the old time people say the game is not worth the candle. To me it's and expensive gizmo. I have other shooting demands for my attention that take precedence over getting the Merit fixed.You can get new suction cups from Merit.
Our experience is different. I'm glad that the Merit kept you shooting. I suspect the Merit aperture for receiver sights kept many others shooting in the day.The Merit kept me shooting for several years when without it I would have been finished. They are amazing devices.
