My baby girl passed

My baby girl died in my arms tonight. She was 15.5 yo and was like a puppy. Wherever I was at she was always right there. Every night she would bring me up something out of our basement and drop it in front of our bedroom. It was almost funny the things she brought up to me.

This was one of her piles of stuff she brought up.

This last photo she was laying with all of our other pets that have passed on. Right after this she started to get sick.

This one really hurt. Way more than the others. It is not getting easier to lose a pet. As I get older it seems that it gets harder and harder.

I'm so sorry. I love cats and each have their little quirks like that which are so endearing.

One of mine will be17 in May. He's in pretty good shape considering, but I know that day is coming.

Very sorry to read this Tomme.
I know the hurt this brings. Loosing my own little girl in 2020 still hurts. I sure hope she is with my wife waiting for me.

Condolences my friend.

Tomme I’m truly sorry, cats and dogs are family and the most innocent members. Hard to lose such innocence.
7 years ago we lost at close to the same time 2 15 year old dogs, 4 years ago we lost our 19 year old cat, what a sweetheart that guy was. Last year we had to put down our 21 year old orange cat.
Our critters are all buried in the family cemetery here at the homestead. My folks, our son and my Cousin are there with a lot of critters.

Tommy,
I feel your loss...I'm very sorry!
I went through the same thing in 2007 when we lost our 18 year old Siamese, Tegan. He was a very special cat.
And like you said "my baby" & It never gets easy. Karen bought us a Rescue male Tabby in 2008. And he became the next "Baby" for us.
Timmy ended up having many of the antics of Tegan ( and then some). We lost Timmy last year in July He slowly started going down hill but did not suffer. He became super affectionate in his last month with us, right up to the night he passed right under our bed.
I'm not sure if it our ages now ( knowing it is coming for us too) now that we are getting old, but his passing was easier to handle knowing he had had a "new forever home" with us and he had a good life.

yes JW. And she was a Snowshoe. She is a very rare breed that fell into our lap. It is really funny as there are two other cats out there that look exactly like her. And both have been on TV for stealing everything under the sun in their neighborhoods.

I can't find the other one but it was over in England.

We just got back from dropping her off at our friends that have a crematorium for pets.

The house is extremely quiet today.

"OK, OK, I'm going as fast as I don't want to go!"
My condolences. Our pets are our family.

It is so hard to let them go when they have been so loving and faithful.

I have one about to go. She is 17 and barely does much other than sleep anymore. My wife doesn't know what to do. Either put her down or let her go on her own. The last two weeks she barely eats. Even her favorite meal of fresh chicken and rice just sits.

This is just now. She looks at the food and goes back to sleep.

That`s so true. Sorry man.
What a beautiful cat.
I have 6 adult cats that my wife had.
My only unspade female just had 3 more, I think, as we speak.
This will be her last litter.
It` getting too hard to give kittens away here.
