The little T/C breakopen .22LR Single shot that I purchased recently for my grandson went to the range today.

In the past 40 years, I've always had outstanding accuracy out of every T/C firearm that I've ever owned, this one today continues that legacy.

Here is a 5 round group at 35 yards off sand bag front and rear rest. Winchester, .22 LR High Speed HP. I don't see how I could ask for more from a $199, 3lb. , .22 rifle.

Great shooting Ben. It is a good feeling to build rifles for the grandchildren. I refinished an old and abused Winchester single shot for my 7 yr old and he loves it. Have fun!!!

Brother Love,

You're right, they don't want to know how much $ is involved, they want to know if you've got more ammo to hand to them.

HA ! ! !:):):):):):)

There are 1/2 dozen or more " Youth Model " .22 single shots out there.

I have my doubts that there are very many that would outshoot this one.

I'm happy with the T/C purchase. This should make Trevor a very nice rifle to learn basic range safety and basic marksmanship skills with.

Real nice. I've never found myself regretting a t/c purchase. What a generous Grandpa & lucky kid!

Every time he comes to our house, he says ...... " Can I just hold my rifle ? " I always get it down from the rack and let him hold it. The look in his eyes is worth more than I paid for the rifle and scope................

At age 7, it is still a bit early, but he has a good attitude right now. He is anxious to try out his new rifle.

Thanks to all of you for your encouraging remarks.

Don't think 7 is necessarily to early Ben, but that is subject to the individual kid. I started
Brad's wife at age 7, with a to long 22LR, but she did ok. Then bought he an H&R single
shot hornet that I sawed the stock off. She did very well with it. Believe they still have that
rifle. Brad started the grand daughter quite early as well, but cant remember the exact
age.
