I shot ( what I thought was ) some good groups a few days ago with my T/C , 32 H&R mag.
I did the shooting with open sights. It did so well that it really go me to thinking that I'd like to see what some of my loads would do with some optics. Now, we'll find out.

I know Brad and myself and probably a lot of others had the same thought when you first posted pictures of the barrel...."how's Ben going to shoot bugholes with those sights???"

We also figure you're going to be shooting this as far as your range will allow (~80 yards?) once you saw how it wanted to group. Glad to see it's coming together.

Yes, I figure there is nothing wrong with minimizing sighting error by using some optics to test my loads. Once the testing is completed, I guess we can always go back to metallic sights if I want.

Won't be much shooting here for 3 more days ! !
Possibility of 3" of rain here tonight.

We just had that over the weekend, then a dry norther behind it. Good times, needed the soak. It went from summer to rainy fall to winter in one weekend, trees didn't even get a chance to turn.
