I am not real picky about coffee, but I do like it to have some body to it. Ordinary Maxwell House from the Dollar General is fine, I do make it stronger than most people and I am hopelessly addicted to black coffee.
I've gone round and round about how best to do it. Used a French press for a while, was using an old school percolater fom Good Will for a few years, but I've gone back to paper filtered stuff after reading enough about some element in coffee that can raise cholesterol levels but apparently, filtering it through paper eliminates that. I've been trying to eat a lot better for about eight months now and it's been working, down about 30 pounds and able to move better, clothes fit better, etc. I had gotten too heavy and long term, that's not good for you.
In any case, I like my coffee and short of some study saying the stuff is like cyanide, I ain't giving it up. That lady is my hero.
