Doesn't it upset you when you ruin a case? Even a .223/5.56 of which you'll never run out of?

If you've got a Papa Murphy's pizza nearby, you have to try The Offensive. I tried getting it added to our local menu by name for years.

You have to take the right tone when ordering, 'Hi, yes, could I get the extra large, Gourmet Vegetarian.. yes, thanks, oh, and add bacon'. If they don't sprinkle enough on, it's best to push for just a bit more. The bacon complements the zucchini and artichoke hearts and the grease crisps up the other toppings nicely.

The employee's look of admiration, followed by disgust, from the first time I gave this pizza a shot, will stick with me forever.

Can't get take-and-bake pizza anymore because of the gluten, wife is celiac.. that's probably Karma coming back to bite me.

Yes, geriatric diabetes here; loved Pappa Murphy’s pizza. Especially the “cowboy “ with meats.

My dad was born in Warsaw as my Russian born grandfather & German grandmother were trying to immigrate to the U.S.of A. as the commies were closing in during the 1920's.

Our Papa Murphy's recently closed. :sigh: Building up for sale. We have the usual gamut of pizza joints, none of which are worth a damn. I grew up on Detroit style (Sicilian) Pizza. Only chain that makes something similar is Jet's Pizza................closest one is in Springfield, Missouri. Pizza Hut offered Detroit style for a limited time, twice. Currently, gone from menu. We don't frequent there cause we don't like thier round pizza.

I prefer the regular pepperoni but also add ham to tone the spiciness down. Never order ground beef on pizza, sausage occasionally. Last pizza we ordered was Little Caesar's Deep Deep Dish, with just pepperoni. We bring it home and sauté our own extra toppings................ham, mushrooms, etc, while pre-heating the gas BBQ. Throw extras on top and reheat for five minutes. Passable Detroit Style for now. Little Caesar's skimps on toppings, except pepperoni, unlike Papa Murphy's.

We were regular Papa Murphy's patrons until Mrs. smokeywolf's heart condition was discovered.
Before we moved from the leftist coast, Costco pizza was our usual purveyor of pizza. Timber, the goofy wolf, would salivate like mad when we gave him a piece of crust.
Sure do miss pizza.
Sure do miss Timber.

That's the problem with pooches. They just don't live nearly long enough. Can't hardly believe my pooch just had her 10th birthday. Already.

What did you find out about the heat pump?

Sundays are pizza days for us. I get up in the morning and make fresh baked scones. Then Supper is pizza, usually it starts as a Kwik Trip pizza that we use as a kit. We get plain sausage pizza and apparently they throw the sausage into the air and if some lands on the pizza they call it good. The sauce can be a bit random as well. That's okay, it's a kit. Take the sausage off and set it aside, redistribute the cheese and touch up the sauce if need be. Then Sue puts all of the sausage on one half of the pizza for me because the poor deluded woman does not like fennel. We buy Usinger's large pepperoni at a deli and have them thin slice it for pizza a pound at a time. We apportion it into 1/4 lb. packages for the next four pizzas. We add onion, red and green bell pepper bits, fresh sliced portobello mushrooms, and 16 green olives sliced in half, plus one green olive for each of us while we work. I mix Sue a dirty G&T made with Bombay Sapphire and I get a Hamms or two. Mm-mmmmm, delightful. A ritual to be cherished.

That is surely the truth! Happy birthday to Tizzy.

Haven't heard from the HVAC folks yet. No hurry. Can't pull the money for the job until after the first of the year or it screws up our taxes and the boy's college finances.

I found it amazing that you couldn't order pizza in Italy in the 60s. They didn't know what it was. Or Ravioli in France.
