Dont get all hung up on this Superfluous information a Chrono provides. (At leas not with a hand gun)

Did ya have fun?
Did ya reach desired speeds?
Did ya hit your target?

Its a hand gun! Loads of room for all kinds a "numbers". Ya aint shooting a multiple football fields!

Ya,,,dont mean much,,but it is a clue that something is cooking well.the 327 has never shot below 30-40 es,,over a 100 lots of times, but that gun is keenly accurate.

I have shot bullseye with 38 & 45 for over thirty years... shot scores as high as 298 18x. (300 20x perfect) Shot Hi Master averages for a few seasons. Was ranked top 25 my state and something like 107/9 in the country one year... NEVER KNEW the es/sd of my load.

Just tellin' ya its great if ya wanna know but dont get hung up on numbers. Dont forget ta have fun.

Back when I had access to a couple of chronographs, I learned a lot from those tools.
However, as much as I liked having that data, it wasn't enough for me to go buy one for myself.

I also learned (vicariously) that there are two types of people with chronographs:
Those who have shot their chronograph
And ......those who are going to shoot their chronograph. :D

I haven’t hit the chronograph itself, yet, but I did hit one of the steel rods that hold the sky screens. 44 magnum turned the rod into a pretzel and the chrony disappeared really fast! It still works…

I like using mone because it slows me down. Private range, very calm and peaceful, hate to rush myself out of there (when the weather is nice) so getting chrony readings keeps me there longer.

The 10 seems to really love aa9,,,and longshot may be the best ,,1200fps,,and real small groups.
Aa7 has been a bummer so far,,surprisingly

Long shot & #9 have been good for me too. #7 is more for 40 for me. But Blue Dot is where I cut my teeth with -0mm.

Today I will reach for power Pistol before ANY other. Cast or jacketed.

My AA-7 gets used in 30 Luger and 30 Mauser/7.62 x 25 Tokarev. AA-9 and Blue Dot have done the heavy lifting for me in 10mm over the years. I have used too little Power Pistol to assess its performance fairly. The stuff is too damn hard to find on the west coast, even at my Covina reloading haven (Phillips Wholesale).
