10" Kak barrel - 1:8, no handguard - lighter that way. Shot some more 100 h.j. hornady with 5.5gr cfe pistol - more normal report than 5 gr. Also 15 gr. 1680, 170gr PB RD style @ 1.915" COAl, 14gr. 1680, 185gr GC RD style @ 1.927 COAL. Lancer mag (did pmag for the H.J. also). Tried the 2 hand pistol grip with the barrel resting on caldwell front, SeeAll sight 25 yds. If I can stop my flinch, shooting would be better. All feed and worked fine. Alloy is 4# of my Zn/Cu/Pb mixed with 6# isocore, all 2x BLL. Also tried the 2 hand grip on the 308 carbine @ 50, (2400 fps load)not to bad - need to practice more. Will use the BO carbine to test accuracy next time.

I have a 10.5" and as a pistol it sucks for ergonomics. On a legal SBR lower its a whole nuther animal as witnessed to 300m.

But SBR is $$ and a wait. Without the handguard, it's not an assault pistol, per BATFE. I think I'll go back to the magwell hold, I did better. This is a short range gun for me, 50 yds max. Anyway, this alloy was a little harder than the 50/50 I have cast, I'll add more Cu/Zn to what is left and see how it does. Estimate 14-1500 fps, I can add another grain safely. I'll also try seating longer, never do hit the lands with the RD style boolit. I can cast alloy into the 30s BHN, trying to see how well low BHN stuff will work.
