image.jpeg Got to test a few more loads yesterday. Still needs some tweaking. 300gr Nosler custom competition bullets, Lapua Brass (New) WW large rifle mag primers 89gr of H1000 @ 2650fps
Bullets 15 thou off lands. This load shows promise at just over two inches at 300 yards shot from prone.

Note the target. Pretty steep angle and the target was leaned against a stump to make things worse.

Well that's just impressive, any idea what caused that little flyer up there?

First thing I noticed was the oblong holes...all exactly the same direction, figured it was leaned or uphill. That being the case, the top shot isn't really a flyer, it's part of a nice, round group that's actually smaller than indicated, probably closer to half MOA than 2/3. Good shooting! Now, how about some paper-patched cast bullets?

It was very hot when we shot, despite being 8:30 AM. It was getting hard to see the target and focus the scope even with the sunshade.
Brad. Recoil is somewhere between .308 and 30-06. The gun has a sweet brake and weighs 16lbs.

PP cast bullets???? Probably not with this one.
Steel at a mile and beyond with J words is the goal with this one.
