It looks like the NOE 35-200 cast fat through the ogive. Can anyone who has the RCBS version or any other version tell me what measurement your getting as cast? Powder coated they will not chamber in my 336. I did make up a dummy round from a traditional lubed bullet and it chambered. Both are sized .360. Nothing against traditional lubed bullets and if that's the route I have to go so be it.

I'm using a borrowed RCBS In my 336 I don't bother to size ( mine likes em fat @.360") No problem chambering these in a 1965 era rifle
i could get you these numbers tomorrow ( But I don't shoot anything but traditional lube)

The PC adds to it. Looks like I'll have to lube for this one. Really didn't want to have to throat it. Thanks!

Ditto on .3605 for the noe version. My old rcbs version poured at .3595.
Both measurements were with straight ww alloy.

You could try sizing down before pcing though? Probably would take a good bit of sizing though.

The 6 cav. Lee mold I bought last november cast a bit small for my tastes .3575 and .3500 on the nose...it would have been a good candidate for PC, I suspect. I have since sold that mold.

I have a Lee two-cavity (haven't cast with it yet) and a Ballard-rifled 336. I, too, was wondering about how the combo would work powder coated.

I may use my throat cutter on this one like I did my CVA Scout. Doesn't take much. Unfortunately we are having to deal with flood water down here in SW Louisiana. My property in the country has up to 4' of water. Ground was built up where all the buildings are at. Our camp as I call it is still safe. Getting water in shop and I had to move my horses to higher ground. Lots of people lost far more than me so I feel lucky so far. All shooting will have to wait for 2 weeks I'm sure. I'll report back on the progress of my 336 when I can.

Thanks Ian! We fixed a spot where water was overflowing from a canal compounding the problem. National Guard plugged the breach that was threatening town. Town is safe but that breach put lots of water into the rural areas. It will be messy for a bit but at least our homes are safe. Many were not so lucky.
