39 years ago today

Well Folks,
Since I don't do facebook or any of that other socialist media.....I figure I would share this with my treasured friends here.
39 years ago today I married my childhood sweetheart. Hard for me to believe it was so long ago.
While of course, this post has nothing to do with the Art & Science of cast bullets: My wife Karen, has been the one that has put up with me all these years through thick & thin and stood by me in all the crazy things I decided to do. I even convinced her to join me in my many years of being a Revolutionary War Re-enactor and she stuck it out. living the life of a wife of a soldier & later an officer in the 18th Century...... and she did that very well!
Now she just puts up with my cast bullet crazyness as I relate many of the threads and post to her each night! She is also the first person ( outside of my shooting buddy Ed ) that gives me a critique on my targets ( of which I know is not of her interest) when I come back from the range. So I guess I'm a pretty lucky fellow that she has hung around here all these years to watch over me and keep me in line!
We will be heading out to a dinner reservation early this evening ( guess when you start having early suppers you know your getting old!)
Just a happy guy!

Wow Jim. We got married 28 years ago today.

Congrats Jim. We are a few years behind you but doing well.

Next Sat we leave for 10 days in Italy. Call it a belated anniversary gift?

Sept. 10, 2021 Steve left us. You are missed.
Congratulation to both couples, seems a rare sight for folks to stay together these days. My sweetheart and I will celebrate our 38th? next month.

Congratulations Jim and Brad seams like staying together is a bit old fashioned. October would have been 39 for me but is wasn't to be, she had wondering eye and left but the second time is a charm 26 years.

wife told me we were at 32 years the other day when I asked how long I had been trying to get her to shoot a shotgun well.
so I'm guessing it'll be 32 this year or maybe 33 either way it isn't some paper or wood stupid thing I have to remember.

I'm sure someone more important said this some time before:
But: if you can drive for 1 hour without a word spoken between the two individuals That is what you call comfort!

We can't do that. We are more likely to finish each other's sentences.

I we are in the car for an hour with no speaking it means at least one of us is pissed about something.
In our house silence is generally not golden.

The less I open my mouth the less problems!
I learned a lot over these years!
Do not repeat the neat things you hear on fox news!
Every story has two sides ( even if they are two faced)
Never watch the "View " together!
Do not talk while Tennis is on! Do not talk while Judge Judy is on!
If I'm asked to do Karaoke Say yes! But I'm really good at that!
