Today I loaded 20 rounds of the Lee 310 gr. g/c with 17.0 grs. of 2400 for my single shot, 44 Mag., Handi. Rifle .

The bullets are sized .4315" with a tight fitting AL gas check and a nice firm crimp. I used Win. Large Pistol Primers in the 20 rounds.

We'll see ?????????

Have the mold, like the bullet, but gave the rifle to Brad. Now if I could find a
little Handi Rifle like yours Ben, it would probably follow me home. Need another
rifle like I need additional holes in the head however.

Paul check out the CVA scout V2 in 44 magnum.
1-20" twist, stainless, and dads 300 blk has a better trigger than most factory rifles. They also come with scope base and ring all for around $350

CVA is currently making a fine break open single shot rifle !
My CVA Scout is unbelievably accurate.
This group below was shot with my CVA Scout , 30-06.
I shot this group at 50 yards , 5 shots, 17.0 grs. of 2400 with the 31141 HP , sized to .310".

Some of you wanted to know how the Lee 310 gr. shoots.
I took my Handi, .44 Mag. to the range today and zeroed it at 50 yards.
By the way, my rifle does have a 1-38 Twist.

After the rifle was zeroed , I fired 3 rounds.
I'm happy !

Most of the areas that I hunt white tail deer here in Alabama will offer 50 - 75 yard shots.

This should be a good load for that type of hunting.

There isn't much walking on 4 legs, anywhere that I'll be hunting, that this bullet placed correctly , ( Notice that I said----- placed correctly ) wouldn't kill.

Good shooting Ben I'm glad the rifle shot the heavyweights for you.
You will be impressed when you hit a deer with one.

For a 1-38 twist that is a very nice surprise. Good job Ben! Just have to be careful. Everybody knows cast bullets can bounce off.
