If you taper crimp, there is no way to load a WC upside down. Unless it's a hollow base. That's kinda obvious. Unless you want a Defensive loading.

If you do want a "point" ? N.O.E. does offer what is basically a WC with a short point.

For me the sizers measure .3575 and .3585. Alloy makes a big difference due to spring back. They need a good scrubbing before use and please, please, please rub a little lube on the bearing surfaces of the first bullet you push thru. Dry bullets sometimes like to stick a little.

Was wondering If I should just Lee Alox them 1 light coat first, or maybe use some of the lanolin alcohol case lube I have made up?

Just a tiny bit of lanolin on the first one then you are good to go.

Are you planning to tumble lube. Pan lube then use cake cutter?

I will probably be tumble lubing with heated up LEE Alox in a zip-lock bag. Then standing them up an a sheet of wax paper with tweezers to dry for now.

I have taken beeswax chap stick and filled the grooves of some of my larger groove lead 38 bullets and it worked quite well Believe it or not.
A little smokey, and left a mess to clean but they were real accurate.

This is as far as I have gone with lubing so far.

I will try to eventually try to get some of those silicon bullet holders and some bees wax for a home made pan lube. 4060MAY showed me some of how he does that method while I was up there. I will be eventually graduating to it and make it part of my cast bulled making process .
