I have a couple of Bushnell TRS-25s and can't say enough good things about them. 3 MOA dot makes paper and other inanimate targets of opportunity easy. Draw a bold circle for 50 yard or more target shooting, or shoot round, white gongs with a dark background.
I can't imagine non-electronic sight restrictions. We use thermal, night vision, red-dots, illuminated reticles, you name it. I have a friend who uses a Trijicon reflex sight on his duck gun to very good effect. Deer and such cannot be hunted at night, but can be hunted with suppressors from 30 minutes after sunrise or before sunset. Pigs are fair game day or night, with anything you want, helicopter and Dillon Aero, thermal, trap and shoot, dogs and a knife, whatever you got, and no magazine capacity restrictions except during deer season.
