This one is the plain base version of the SAECO 315.
I'm SUPER pleased with the quality of the mould and the dimensions of the cast bullets from the mould.
Tom, as we all know, does fantastic work !

I've getting real close to .312" on the rear drive band and .301 " on the nose.
Of course the bullets are so close to perfect in roundness that my mic is unable to detect any out of roundness.

I gave the mould a good cleaning, warmed the mould and began casting.
Nice looking bullets almost immediately.

Odd, but somehow those photos make me hungry.

Just ordered a 2C brass 31-188G. Love those Accurate brass beauties. Run them just a little bit faster/hotter and the bands will sharpen up.

That is a REALLY nice looking mold and a dandy pile of bullets! I'll bet that they shoot, too!

I think the 1st test medium for these may be my T/C Super 14, 30-30.( This was actually why I ordered the mould ). At a later date, they will get a good work out in my MANY 30-06 and 308 Win. rifles.

That design should work well in many .30 cal guns. Do you also use the gas check version for cartridges of higher velocity in your arsenal?

Do you also use the gas check version

The brass mould is plain base.
I have the same mould made by SAECO that I can use gas checks with.
It is also a super accurate bullet in just about any .30 cal. rifle
that I've ever fried it out of.
