No longer a member here. Seems he got mad at me and asked Brad to remove his membership from the forum. I don't even remember what the issue was but something taken out of context. It's a shame, miss him here. Maybe someday he will return.

I haven't seen him on the other site either.
I have met him in person and liked him pretty much right off, plus he was able to tolerate me and Littlegirl being ourselves.

I sense displeasure with the boo-boo board somehow. I'm not hung up on the boards name, just some of the people there.

Al is mainly active on the NCBS group of cast b site. He fights his health but not his attitude.

I think it is good that the world has a few Bret types. Think I am fairly close!
I hate (not dislike) wishy washey, P.C., know nothing types who have no opinion
on any thing. My wife says I don't have an opinion on anything, rather I have
an opinion on everything. Don't intend to change.

The last gets bonus points cause of spell check's shallowness.But,in any case....folks need to be careful slinging around the "O" word.No,not Obama....no not,Oprah.It's "opinion".It gets used abjectively(and adjectively) like it's some kind of game stopper?

An old, small town cop once told me something that has proven true in every single case I've run across. He stated, unequivocally, "Everybody in the world is an a hole, you just don't see it in most of them until somebody pushes their buttons." That truism has never failed me in interactions with every person I've ever run across. Some people you can do everything in the world to try and not come close to that button and it doesn't matter, they're going to show that nasty side. Others are far easier to deal with, it takes something to trigger the bad- booze, drugs, jealousy, greed, politics, a perceived insult, not buying their schtick, whatever. In the end, most of the trouble I've run across in this life comes from that guy in the mirror. He's my biggest problem.

And our own worst enemies. We know exactly what bothers, or hurts us the most, and we use it against ourselves mercilessly.

Life is pretty complicated when we think too much. However, it's worse when we don't think enough.
