The article will not be posted online, it is just going to be printed in The Fouling Shot. Sorry, but the articles in the FS are one of the perks of being a CBA member.

Ric--

Sorry for the lack of clarity, sir. To be able to transfer a handgun in CA, that handgun has to be "safety-certified" by Cal-DOJ. There are exceptions to that rule, however. The one you ask about is (in summary) any handgun manufactured 50 years or more prior to the transfer date does not need to be on the Cal-DOJ Handgun Roster in order to be lawfully transferred. Ridiculous, but I don't want to become a test case in this Soviet Albania With Date Palms, so I hew to the Chapter & Verse pretty closely.

Daniel--being a firearms hobbyist in CA is......challenging. I am hoping that a Trump & Co. Supreme Court that follows the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution makes some of these draconian set-piece clusterBLANKs of social justice engineering GO AWAY. But, enough of that--I am REALLY electioned-out, though thankful for its outcome and its potential.

David--Well, HECK--I guess I need to re-elect CBA, too. Ya talked me into it.
