I've had some pretty good luck with 180gr Speer rounds in a 70s built 336. Flatter trajectory, and just as good for deer.I have the RCBS 35-200 but it has nose profile that is hard to chamber. I use a NOE nose sizer that takes off a little and will chamber easier. Just afraid that some time the bullet will be pushed into the case unknowingly and then fired. That's why I want to use a different nose profile. Also the 399 is 180 grains.
