Attention KHornet & all you Hotties

Nope, I hate the cold. It's not too bad here right now, sunny and 92 with 42% RH, looking forward to 98 tomorrow. If we had a breeze it would be downright pleasant. I feel for the folks in NE and the other places that have been seeing over 100 and aren't used to it. I have a feeling this summer is going to end up setting some records some places, and we might see some 106-108 days with around 60% RH, days that make it tough to drive due to the mirage.

How's everyone's bullet lube holding up?

The Carnauba Red & LBT Blue Soft is doing fine here but so far we've only had a few days in the 80s & hope it's like most years when summer time means more days in the 70s than 80s. Our average high for the hottest month is 79.8 in July.

yesterday I seen 59 pretty much all day when I was out chuck hunting
it's a bit warmer today, tomorrow will be about 80.
stupid southerly wind has been blowin about 12-15 mph for 3 days now, if it would quit I'd go fishing.
I had to hold about 9" into it to make a hit at 350yds yesterday, glad I had some heavier bullets along for that shot.

We are currently in south west MN to help my brother move. A front just moved thru and it is around 70. We left Omaha in the low 90s and sweating, we are now wondering if we are gonna be cold.

Ian, we are sorta used to 95-100, we just don't care for it. It comes with 70% humidity and that is what really sucks.

Lynn! You're just showin' off again.

I don't know what to do now. I hate to be cold, and I hate to be hot. I guess I'd take the cold, I can always build a fire, but I can't make snow.

Last 2 days in SW Louisiana has been hotter than the Devils back side on taco Tuesday! Not just the last 2 days but I've been working at the farm the last 2 trying to get things done before we get rain again.

My brother and sister want me to move to Florida. Funny thing, my brother visited me last weekend on a 90 degree day, with 80 some percent humidity. He said it was much nicer than Floridas 105 degree days with humidity in the high 90s. And besides that, we don't have alligators here killing our kids and dogs, or mosquitoes the size of B52s. We do have real B52s though. They fly over Brads house all the time.

No B52s, not here at least. I did grow up with them flying over, some with my father on board.
No Florida for me. To hot, too humid, too many old people.

I can still out run old people.
I'd die from the heat but I'd be clear of the walker brigade when I done it.

Almost 11:30 PM, and still 83 degrees. My garage is about 98, as I am forces due to orders to fire a kiln overnight.

Well 4 weeks ago we had snow at 8000' ,home is at 4150', 3 weeks ago we hovered in the low 80s over night and had 11 straight that went over 100 , last week we got rain 2 days , so far the trailing clouds and cooking off of the rains has kept us in the high 80s . Then again if we have a wet day and it's raining we only see about 35% humidity.

Well, RB it is what it is. I remember one year in Alaska (Fairbanks) that the high for the year was 92 degrees, and the low was -72. That said, it was the healthiest climate that I have ever lived in.

I am never happy when the temp is much over 70, but I really like temps in the 50-65 degree range. I hate to sweat, but I can avoid shivering with additional clothing. There is no such thing as perfect!

Monday is supposed to be 110* F here (Redlands), and 123* in Indio (my first duty station). 101* currently here, fairly low humidity makes it not so bad.

100 here right now near the L.A./Ventura County line. Shop isn't air conditioned. I won't be doing much at the bench unless it's after 10 PM.
