I rarely shoot the ONE I have. I think what's weird is spending more time chasing brass than shooting. :D

Been there, done that, and the only thing I ever found I liked better than a good 1911 also happened to have been designed by John Browning. Unfortunately, that alternative only exists in 9mm, and I don't load 9mm.

Rick, I don't chase brass either.

Have to admit, a big motivator for acquiring a second 1911 is, I have two sons who both love the 1911.

A Browning Highpower would be nice to own. I got the CZ75 as they fit my hand well and have an excellent reputation. Price was also a factor.
A second 1911 is a possibility, just not currently on the radar.

Ian, are you working with Rick to spend money for me?

No, just trying to understand why you didn't ALREADY have three or four of them. Usually people either hate them or have several.

I really like mine. I would like a few more but other guns and other stuff takes a financial precedence.

I see you do not suffer from Compulsive Excessive Syndrome, usually a condition that is comorbid with Gunitis. Weird indeed. o_O

Sometimes I suffer from cheap bastarditis. Might explain my small number of moulds owned.

I had one 1911 once.
there was a long time I didn't have any, then I got one.
then I got another.
and finally bought a third not like the first 2, and it has sights I can see on top of the slide.
still can't shoot groups with it but I can see the dot's now.
