Blue Dot / True Blue

Good morning
Been reading about Titegroup so ordered 2 8 pounders. Wideners has it on sale.
To fill the box and that $30 haz mat fee ordered a jug of True Blue.
Is True Blue similar to Blue Dot in use ? I have been out of Blue Dot for my last two times up so decided to give this new to me powder a try.
