Bore Scopes...

I have a rigid short rod,for handguns,,around a foot long,so they do make them.i also have a 5 foot cable one,,makes it nice looking into my 44 inch longrifles

Well I did have a bore light for a while. Till I dropped it down a drain at a gun show.

Thanks for the nudge. I didn't know they were this affordable. I was looking at the rigid $100 version for Android, then caught a glimpse of the 10" version for $50. I decided that 10" would be handier and more useful for my needs. Long enough to see the throat on bolt actions. Perfect for handguns. Plus short enough to bring into use when working on the lathe.

Teslong also has adapters up to .40 cal to get a better view. I used one in my 40-65 wcf and it made a big difference in the picture vice the std .20 cal it comes with.

I love my marlin leverguns,,always will.but be warned,never look in one with a scope!!!
They are some of the worst looking bores, you will ever see!!
But they shoot well, DONT LOOK!!

Two things I have found to use the scope for is when is the barrel clean and what is the correct length of the case for that particular barrel, it’s much quicker to look than doing a cast.
