you ain't missing anything you don't already know, unless you missed the Ed Harris/Dennis Marshal/Paco Kelly time frame of lube stuff.


Bens red made the list so a congrat's to him is in order.
so did Montana Charlie's 3 parts bees wax 1 part chicken fat [joke lube]

I almost got Steve and Pete mixed up. Can't remember my password right now, but I have a good idea what's on the list. I'd love to see the Apache Blue official formula published sometime before PK passes to the next life.

it has more.
and goes into ingredients like bees-wax, japan wax. blah,blah.
I'd just link to the LAHSC site and read about it there.
but there's nothing exciting to see and no lube recipes you can't throw together yourself from stuff in the garage.

Mmmm. Re-hash of mostly outdated info.

Hopefully Felix lube and the Glenn's offerings made the list somewhere.

Felix is in there but it's a short synapsis.
some of Glens [Lars's] stuff showed up in mention.
voodoo lube is in there [barely] and Jeff has been a site sponsor there for years
many old recipes with tallow, and the old military lube with just plain japan wax and nothing else is in there.

like I said nothing more than the LAHSC site has.
Ben's red is probably the newest one in there.
ester oils got a sentence about them possibly having some use in bullet lube [shrug]

I exchanged correspondence with the owner of CF Ventures within the last 6 weeks or so. I believe I may have the last shipment to leave his business as he said he was now closing his doors. I hated to hear that.
