reading the older books on casting and reloading is never a waste of time.
we've moved along on some of the stuff [shrug] but the basics are the basics.

The reason that it is so good is that it was before mass communication. The Colonel had to work all of this out by himself, empirically. He was the link between Harry Pope and the CBA of the 1970's. His objectives were not the same as many casters today, but it was the straight skinny.

I was on NRA staff when this was compiled. The articles were carefully vetted by myself, Robert N. Sears, Col. Harrison, William C. Davis, Jr., Dennis Marshall, Ph.D., and Col. Sidney Musselman ( who founded the CBA) to weed out the fly excrement from the pepper. All experienced shooters and engineers who sorted the solid info without the BS and folklore.

I have a .pdf copy of the book, Cast Bullets by Col. Harrison on this laptop but it is too large a file for me to attach it here for others to download. ( approx. 30+MBs)

I went & found some files of that book for folks here to download, or simply go read it themselves if they like.

PDF - http://www.castpics.net/subsite2/ClassicWorks/CastBullets-s.pdf

Scribd - https://www.scribd.com/doc/225468029/Cast-Bullets-by-Col-E-H-Harrison-NRA-1979 ( < there is a Download link at the top left of center of this page where it says you can download, but I already have a .PDF copy so I did not use the download link. Dunno if it works. You may have to join the Scribd to read the copy there after 30 days)

Internet Archive Full Text Version - https://archive.org/stream/22546802...Bullets-by-Col-E-H-Harrison-NRA-1979_djvu.txt

Internet Archive with more Download options - https://archive.org/details/225468029-cast-bullets-by-col-e-h-harrison-nra-1979

I suggest downloading a copy until one can find a paper/hard cover copy, since links do not always last on the internet.

G'Luck~!
