Bruce "Ammohead" with a 135# hog and the 200gr bullet he used for a head on shot at about 40 yd . MV was over , in his 35 Rem ,1800 fps . The bullet struck about mid snout , entered the sinuses, then into the brain pan making pudding then going down the spinal tube , exiting between the between low neck vertebrae coming to a rest about 12" into the back straps.
1 of 3 I took 130-165# with the 454424 over 8.5 gr of Unique for 1050 fps MV at 258 gr . Every one of them exited after rib impacts,2 cut shoulder blades , ranges were 10 ft to 47 yd . Calm animals just fell in a heap . The one that was all juiced up running like like a Greyhound on a race track , it went about 200 yd and piled up in a pool of lung blood .
Ms whacked this guy with a full power 30-30 and the 312-165 FP RD from NOE .she hit it high and a little too far back and had to finish it with a second round .
