I can say in all honesty that never once have I turned on the pot or gone into my loading room to see how many how fast. Never.
Normally I'm not about speed but there are times I need to get things done. I'm called the slowest guy in my class.

Must take you days, weeks to process 1500 .223's then.
It's all about the journey & the experience to some guys & that feeds the soul what it needs. A lot of what I do is the same, being retired I don't normally hurry but then there are times.

I can say in all honesty that I have never loaded 1500 223's. Or 1000. Or 500. Or 200.

Pride in what I produce is far more important than how many I produce.

Have no AR's and am a believer in one shot, one hit. Never have been a believer in spray & pray.

Have no Dillon or any other progressive press.

But hey, to each their own and whatever pleases them.

Well, in all honesty, were ONLY talking about decapping and sizing brass. It'd be foolish to run as fast a you can on a RC press in the loading stages.

It's funny . If I want to produce a volume of bullets I have 5,6,&8 cavity moulds , I'm often surprised at how many I cast in an hour with 2&3 cavities . Singles are drudgery for me without some reason for them .

That said if I were really about the volume I'd save my pennies for a Camdex machine and a 500# Master caster . I mean if you're going to take the mental focus and deliberate moves out of the tasks you may as well shoot the works .

I have loaded large lots of several cartridges 200 at a time , it's not bad to do and there's still a pride thing .

not sure on the saturation point but if you try to get too much lanolin in there your just shooting yourself in the foot.

Don’t mess with it too much, don’t want to be accused of using a Lube Goldberg mix
