Two versions of T/C Contender Rear Silhouette sight? [429817 ?]

Note the Gib lock is centrally located. There was no decent interior picture, but does this version use a sliding dovetail block to clamp the staff in place? Saw this on at least three more auctions where it was attached to a barrel.

Thompson Center Contender 41 Magnum 14″ Barrel, Williams FP Sight uses the "dogleg" T/C silhouette rear sight, but if you look at the slide, it's a Williams... There is a possible relationship where a Dogleg Rear sight is paired with a Williams 3/16 Streamlined Ramp...

It looks like the op filed off or pulled out the bead?

Look at the "dogleg" T/C Silhouette rear sight. See the "Williams" on the sight "staff"? Also, note that the rear sight aperture holder has been replaced with a 11529 FP Square Notched Blade. I don't know if both "new" and old dogleg sights can be used for this mod, I know the Williams staff fits in the new version [I have two].
