Another Brittany Spaniel adventure... Nipped over near Whitewater and unleashed the Fast Attack Brittany on some open flats. She worked up at least one Woodcock, but it was overcast and early, and I couldn't make out the bird well enough with amber lenses.
Anyways, later another bird popped up and headed out to the flat, and the old retrobate dumped it. So unusual to have a real good fix for once, the flat has mostly foot high redbush and sedge (I think).
Belle went over and worked for a few minutes and came up with the bird. Not a toothmark on it, but then again the OR was standing about 2 feet away from her...
She still has an issue with breaking off and not responding when we start getting near to the car.... She knows what it is and doesn't like not being in it when it leaves.
Oh, that reminds me, a nice group of ladies were out for a stroll, and we had to stop for the intersection, and Belle sticks her nose out the window. One of the nice ladies said What a pretty doggy!
The truth be told, if we had a male Brittany Spaniel, they would have mobbed the car, trying to run their fingers through the hair on his macho, sexy, and muscular chest...
