Love that he was sucessful! Didlike he got such a buck as his first. Seen too many sour because there is little to strive for. Guys hunt a lifetime and dont shoot as nice a buck. My buddys kid did same thing three years ago. 178" of 245# 13 pointer. He is tough ta be around talking hunting. (went to his head)

Congrats! They are a hoot! Oldest is almost 3. Can't wait. I have a combo 22/410 set and a Win 22 rifle for the grandkids to start shooting. And, A Ruger SS 22 and some lightweight 32 revolvers. Won't be long!

That's awesome, Dale. In the past year, I gained a nine year old step grandaughter I have been building a relationship with. My son, her Dad, has just recently gotten back into deer hunting, but was always pretty outdoorsy. Hoping to get that young lady out in the next couple of years, she already likes to fish, so off to a good start. Grandparents on the other side are great people as well and live out in the country, so she'll probably be getting it from both sides.
