..that you can install the drum backwards in a Redding powder measure ?
I didn't, until about an hour ago.
I've had that measure for about 30 years. Works perfect. (so of course I needed to make it not work perfect). The other day it was looking a little grungy. I had a few minutes so I started thinking (that is was clearly where I made the first error) that I'll just take it apart and clean it.
I cleaned it up and marveled at how close the fit is after all of these years. I reassembled it and put it back in the storage mount on the wall. Didn't give it a second thought.
I attempted to use it tonight and it was all screwed up. It wouldn't drop all of the powder in the drum at once. I had somehow managed to get the drum back in in some incorrect orientation. I had to repair what I had fixed. It's back together now and working like it did before yours truly decided it needed service.
